28-Day Whatnot Challenge – Week One Done!

Published on 7 February 2026 at 19:24

I’ve officially completed week one of my 28-day Whatnot selling challenge—one live show every single day. Here’s a quick update on how it’s going so far and what I’ve learned in the first seven days.

How the First Week Went

I won’t lie — committing to a daily show does take effort. Some days it was easy, other days it was a case of fitting it in wherever I could. But once I got a few shows in, it started to feel normal. Less build-up, less pressure, just getting on with it.

Each show felt a bit smoother than the last. Talking on camera got easier, the flow improved, and I spent far less time worrying about things being perfect.

The Good Stuff

A few things stood out this week:

  • Confidence improved fast

  • Returning viewers started popping back in

  • The shows felt easier as the week went on

  • Consistency really does matter on Whatnot

Even the quieter shows were useful — they gave me space to test things, adjust, and learn without pressure.

What Worked

A few things became clear pretty quickly:

  • Being organised makes everything run smoother

  • Starting on time sets the tone for the whole show
  • Having clothes sorted by size before going live saved time and kept the show flowing

  • Packaging orders as soon as possible keeps things from piling up

Not every show was busy, but every show taught me something — layouts, pacing, listings, what people respond to, and how much easier the whole process is when you stay organised and consistent.

The Harder Parts

The biggest challenge was time and energy. Going live every day means you can’t rely on motivation — you just have to do it. Some shows were stronger than others, and that can mess with your head if you let it.

But one thing I’ve already learned:

A show that happens beats a show that doesn’t.

Looking Ahead to Week Two

Going into week two, the focus is on refining rather than reinventing. Small improvements, better flow, clearer listings, and continuing to show up daily. If week one was about proving it could be done, week two is about doing it better.

There are still 21 days to go, but completing the first week feels like laying a solid foundation. I’m excited to see where this challenge leads by the end of the 28 days.

I’ll be sharing updates as the challenge continues, so if you want to see how this plays out over the next few weeks, feel free to follow along.
