Week two of the 28-day Whatnot selling challenge is complete.
That’s now 14 days in a row of going live, with a show every single day. This week was all about flow and organisation — tightening things up and making the shows easier to run.
How This Week Felt
Week 2: Pushing Past the Awkward Phase - it was all about adjustment. The initial excitement of starting the challenge was still there, but the reality of going live every single day began to sink in. I was more aware of my habits on camera, more conscious of the pauses, and more critical of how each show went once it ended.
This was the week where things still felt a little awkward. Talking didn’t always flow, filling dead air took effort, and viewer interaction sometimes felt forced. But instead of getting discouraged, I started to see these moments as part of the process. Each live session became a chance to improve, even if the progress felt small at the time.
What mattered most in Week 2 was showing up. Every day on camera chipped away at the nerves and self-doubt. Even when the streams didn’t feel “great,” they were building the foundation for confidence, clarity, and consistency.
Week 2 wasn’t flashy, but it was necessary. It was the bridge between starting strong and finding my rhythm—and without it, the growth that followed in Week 3 wouldn’t have been possible.
What Worked
A few things that made a real difference this week:

Having clothes fully sorted by size before the show

Laying items out in the order I planned to run them

Bagging or piling sold items straight away to avoid confusion later

Packaging orders as soon as possible after the show
All of this saved time and kept the shows flowing without unnecessary stops or stress.

Week two showed a clear and encouraging increase in sales, reflecting the growing momentum of the show and the stronger connection with the audience.
With improved consistency and clearer messaging, viewers were more confident in making purchases, leading to higher conversion overall. Increased visibility, better product callouts, and more natural engagement helped turn interest into action.
This uptick in sales signals that the foundation built in week one is starting to pay off, setting a positive trajectory for continued growth in the weeks ahead.
Focus for Week 3
Going into week three, the focus shifts toward deeper engagement and stronger on-camera confidence. This means talking more consistently and comfortably, creating natural moments of interaction with viewers, and being more responsive to chat and audience cues. The goal is to build a stronger connection so the show feels conversational rather than one-sided. At the same time, there’s an emphasis on maintaining high energy from start to finish—staying animated, positive, and present throughout the entire show, even during slower moments. Overall, week three is about stepping into a more confident presence, owning the space, and making viewers feel actively involved and excited to be there.
